What is the opportunity?

Our team is looking for a software engineer who will develop and improve the automated trading system. To generate trading signals, our quantitative trading strategies constantly analyze various financial data ranging from the low-level market microstructure data to macroeconomic news. The automated trading system accurately executes our trades in a low-latency environment. As a software engineer in Presto Labs, you will solve the engineering and statistical problems arising from developing and managing this automated trading system. You will work with the world’s top-class engineers and quantitative researchers of Presto Labs, and experience a lot of cutting-edge technologies.

Location

Jing’an District, Shanghai, China

Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain in-house automated trading system.

· Work on large-scale data analysis.

· Build and optimize tools to process financial data for quantitative research.

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or other equivalent practical experience.

· Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.

· Knowledge and experience on financial data.

· Strong experience in Linux shell environments and AWS/Aliyun environments.

· Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English.

Preferred qualifications

· Experience in quantitative analysis and algorithms.

· Experience in a low-latency programming and network setup.
