What’s Intel CPEG?

CPEG (China Platform Engineering Group) is part of Intel Platform Engineering Group, we are doing business differently on how we develop SoC with China based partners. We are taking unprecedented risks in focusing and enabling China based SoC designs and platforms on IA to deliver products resulting in greater and accelerated scale for Intel. CPEG is partnering with Intel teams to scale IA & Process Technology in entry & mainstream mobile markets.

Position 1 -Embedded System Engineering Intern

Qualifications:

• Strong C programming skills

• Familiar with various OS especially in Linux platform

• Familiar with embedded system digital interfaces and protocols

• Proven abilities of troubleshooting in embedded systems

• Good English, both oral and writing

• Quick learner

• Good Communication and reporting skills

• Knowing X86 is a plus

 

Position 2 -Modem Engineering Intern

Qualifications:

• Strong C programming skills

• Some basic knowledge in Smart Phone or 3GPP protocol flow is a plus

• Good abilities of troubleshooting in embedded systems

• Good English, both oral and writing

• Quick learner

• Good character 

 

Position 3 -RIL-CONT Intern for Connectivity Team

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in C/C++ or Java programming.

• Have basic knowledge on Android RIL/telephony framework or BT/WIFI/GPS 

• Familiar with GCC tool chain and makefile rules.

• Good analytical and problem solving skills.

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English. 

• Good teamwork spirit

 

Position 4 -RF Firmware Intern

Job Scope: 

• Mobile phone 2G/3G/4G RF test and verification

• Cellular RF (2G/3G/4G-LTE) issue analysis and debug

• Automatic test script development and documentation

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of mobile communication and embedded system

• Good C/C++ programming skill. Perl and Java is a plus

• Good English reading and writing skill.

• Knowledge of driver/firmware development is a plus

• Can work at least 3 days per week and can stay for at least 

   

6 months Position 5 -RF Hardware Intern

Job Scope: 

• Mobile phone 2G/3G/4G RF/Wireless test and verification

• RF Issue analysis and debug

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of GSM/WCDMA mobile communication, TD-SCDMA  or LTE  is a plus

• Knowledge of RF or Microwave systems

• Knowledge of RF performance tuning and test

• Good English reading and writing skill.

• Can work at least 3 days per week and can stay for at least 6 months

 

Position 6 -BB Hardware Intern

Job Scope: 

• Development support of mobile platforms based on Intel baseband solutions

• Cellular Baseband hardware issues investigation raised by the partner or internal teams

Qualifications:

•  Knowledge of mobile communication and embedded system

• Good knowledge of ARM or X86 based microprocessors/chipsets

• Prefer to have validation/debug hands-on skills

• Good English reading and writing skill

• Can work at least 3 days per week and can stay for at least 6 months

 

Position 7 –Intern for Android Integration team

Qualifications:

• Familiar with C/C++ or Java programming.

• Familiar with shell/perl/python script.

• Familiar with GCC tool chain and makefile rules.

• Good analytical and problem solving skills.

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English. 

• Good teamwork spirit

 

Position 8 –Intern for Multimedia team

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in C/C++ or Java programming.

• Have basic knowledge on Android multimedia or audio framework

• Majoring in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. 

• Good analytical and problem solving skills.

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English. 

• Good teamwork spirit

 

Position 9 –Intern for System Verification

Qualifications:

• Good knowledge on telecommunication and smart phone 

• Familiar with embedded system

• Good English on communication and writing.

• Good Communication and reporting skills

• Team work spirit

 

Position 10 – Intern for Android team

Qualifications:

• Majoring in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering 

• Strong C/C++ or Java programming skills  

• Familiar with various OS especially for Linux

• Good English skills, both oral and writing, good communication ski

• Teamwork spirit

• Participated in social practice activities is a plus

 

Position 11-Team Admin Intern

Qualifications: 

• Strong communication and coordination capability

• Fluent English skill

• Familiar with PC and MS office 

• Pay attention to details

• Self-motivation
