Graduate Engineer - RTL for AI Product
Location: Shanghai/Shenzhen
Job Description
As a HW Engineer, you will contribute to the RTL design and/or verification of high performance, energy efficient accelerators and/or compute units for Artificial Intelligence (AI) related IP. Your responsibilities will be related, but not limited to
• Micro-architecture design and/or verification
• RTL logic design, debug and Verification (e.g. IP/methodologies/framework, bus functional models, regression tests)
Qualifications
Education
Master (MS) or Doctorial (Ph.D.) Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science/Engineering, focused on Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related technical field.
Desirable Skills and Experience-
• RTL design experience with track record of independent delivery for more than one module design
• Familiarity or experience in RTL design with Verilog and/or VHDL is required
Experience in following will be a plus -
• Subject matter expertise in various logic areas of CPU micro-architecture design - specifically experience in areas related to load and store operations;
• High-performance, low-latency execution, high area-efficient and power-efficient logic design for Computer Vision, Machine Learning or other AI technologies;
• RTL design for multi-threaded, low-power microprocessors;
• A good understanding of Arm based IP or SoC designs and system architecture.
Graduate Engineer - AI Product Software
Location: Shanghai/Shenzhen
Job Description
The Software Engineer will be part of a software development team that develops and deploys state of the art software for Artificial Intelligence (AI) related IP. The engineer will be expected to
• Enable machine learning algorithms and/or applications on Arm AI products for related the state of the art technologies such as Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Audio/Speech Recognition etc.
• Conduct verification on efficient Deep Learning methods - supervised learning, unsupervised, reinforcement, and/or deep learning for applications of object classification, detection and recognition.
• Develop and/or prototype software solutions (with all needed software stacks) for typical usage scenarios like in video/speech/text analytic generated by multiple sensors and tracking systems, achieving competitive performance.
Qualifications
Education
Master (MS) or Doctorial (Ph.D.) Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science/Engineering, focused on Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related technical field.
Desirable Skills and Experience-
• Expert programming skills in C/C++;
• Knowledge in Deep Learning Neural Networks (for classification and detection) and/or in one of following techniques, logistic regression, SVM, decision trees, and random forests;
• Working knowledge of CPU, GPU or DSP architecture will be a plus;
• Experience in architecture specific (e.g. Arm/X86 SIMD instructions) software optimization is a plus.
Graduate Engineer - CPU Software

We are opening for variety of system software, firmware, or hardware engineering roles for graduate level who are passionate, agile-learning, with can-do attitude, and engineer level who additionally could contribute independently in open and disciplined teamwork for quality of delivery through all phases of system software, firmware, or SoC subsystem or integration for CPU IP related engineering processes.
Qualification
The essential skills or experiences include:
• Strong embedded software/firmware development skills in C or C++ programming languages, or skillful in SoC subsystem or integration with Verilog/SystemVerilog or SystemC programming languages as well as in EDA methodologies like UVM/OVM/VMM/LPM
• Familiar with open source projects and their working models
• Any experience in all functions of software or hardware development for CPU, GPU, DSP, or related SoC projects with popular systems for repository, tracking, reviewing, releasing, verification, and analysis.

Graduate Engineer - IP / SoC
Location: Shanghai/Shenzhen/Chengdu
Job Description
This position resides in the Platform and IP Services Group, and provides an opportunity for an aspiring engineer to gain extensive knowledge across Arm IP products e.g. CPU, GPU, Systems IP, and SoC design and implementation methodologies covering front, middle and backend. Qualified candidates will be a prolific learner, eager to acquire knowledge and expertise quickly. The role offers plenty of opportunities to apply your knowledge in different contexts such as working in an SoC project, supporting and consulting customers, teaching in a closed training or lecture etc. Through the role, you will become an expert in Arm IP products, learn to engage with customers and gain broad experience in SoC design.
Skill sets that you will acquire as part of the team depending on your assignment after an initial training period:
Support Services

o Support customers with their technical queries

SoC Front-end

o Power, speed and area (PPA) optimization.

SoC Back-end
o Floorplan, placement, CTS, routing, and timing closure.
o SI/PI analysis, evaluation, and optimization.
o Physical verification (DRC/ERC/LVS/DFM/…) and tap out signoff.

Qualifications:
General requirements
o Bachelor or master of EE, CS, or related fields.
o Proficiency in digital circuit, logic, and HDL (Verilog) design.
o Familiar with SOC design knowledge.
o Familiar with low power design methodologies.
o Familiar with UNIX/LINUX, C-Shell, C/C++, Makefile, etc.
o Good with Perl, Python, and TCL experiences.
