PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Scale, Enable & Transform (SET) organization is responsible for SAP’s solution packaging strategy and delivery. With SAP Rapid Deployment solutions (RDS) and SAP Best Practices we accelerate the adoption of SAP solutions on-premise and in the cloud by SAP field services and partners.

The combination of products, pre-configuration and services enables our customers to start quickly and realize fast business value at low cost and risk. This is of high value in particular in innovation areas like Cloud Integration.

The Solution Package Build team under SET is responsible for building various packages, including RDS and BAiO, with best practices of the product features and solution to customer implementation challenges.

Cloud Integration is an innovative and strategic area belonging to Technology domain. With more and more market demand we need product specialist to deliver best quality packages under time pressure.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Mandatory

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or Engineering related majors

• Quick learner, eager to learn new technologies and up skill on SAP products and solutions

• Self-motivated, good communication and drive for execution

Beneficial / optional

• Knowledge in SAP Hana Cloud Integration, Process Integration or other middleware (e.g. Boomi)

• Knowledge in SAP Basis, ABAP, or JAVA

• Knowledge in object-oriented programming and design patterns

• Experiences with state of the art development tools (e.g. Git, Eclipse)

• Understanding of web services communication, security, network connection, etc.

• Understanding of cloud solution

• Fluent in written and spoken English

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Work as part of the Technology domain within Solution Package Build team with the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing integration content for integrating SAP on premise products (or 3rd party applications) and Cloud solutions

• Responsible for building solutions on integration of SAP on premise products (or 3rd party applications) and Cloud solutions

• Implement defined package scope in system landscape as best practice content, support required testing activities in package build lifecycle, e.g. Acceptance Test

• Work out comprehensive package deliverables with high quality (e.g. configuration guide, test script)

• Enable solution adoption through various ways (e.g. message handling, sales/presales support)

• Collaborate with colleagues worldwide on building solutions

 WORK EXPERIENCE

No more than 2 years’ professional experience (fresh graduates also can be accepted) in software development or as a technical consultant in SAP implementation projects.
