Dev Intern

We are looking for highly motivated university students to join Splunk Shanghai R&D Center as interns. As an intern you will work on a real project (or a few) and have an opportunity to enjoy our vibrant, startup-like environment. You will get invaluable work experience at a leader in “Big Data”, the hottest software market at the moment.
 
Responsibilities: I want to and can do that!
•    Works with senior members to modify or implement basic features
•    Tests basic software systems and applications. 
•    Debugs in programming languages e.g. Python, JavaScript, Java and script languages.
•    Writes unit tests and fix bugs.
•    Writes small well-defined components
•    Other tasks assigned by the manager or senior members
 
Requirements: I’ve already done that or have that!
•    Knowledge of programming in C/C++/Java or JavaScript/Python/Perl
•    Familiarity with Unix/Linux and/or Windows OSs
•    Strong communication skills, verbal and written in English and mandarin
•    Enthusiasm for solving interesting problems
•    Quick Learner
•    Could come at least 3 days/week during the semester and 5 days in the vacation
•    3 months duration is a must and 6 months to 1 year is preferred
